
Jennifer Cunha

Jennifer Cunha, Ph.D., is an Assistant Researcher at the Psychology Research Center (CIPsi), University of Minho, Portugal. Jennifer teaches in the Undergraduate (Bachelor’s), Master’s, and Doctoral programs in Psychology at the University of Minho. Her research focuses on self-regulated learning, school engagement, mentoring, teacher feedback, and human agency in the context of climate change. She is the Principal Investigator of the FCT-funded project “There’s no planet B!: Adolescents’ agency toward the climate change problem” (PTDC/PSI-GER/1892/2021).

Sander Thomaes

Sander Thomaes is a Professor of Psychology at Utrecht University. He adopts inter- and transdisciplinary approaches to help understand young people’s responses to climate change and associated ecological crises. He earned his PhD in developmental psychology, and currently serves as vice dean for research and impact at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Utrecht University.

Sara Moreno Pires

Sara Moreno Pires is an Assistant Professor at the University of Aveiro and President of the international NGO Common Home of Humanity. She holds a PhD in Applied Environmental Sciences, an MSc in Development and Planning: Environment and Sustainable Development, and a BSc in Economics. Her research focuses on local governance, territorial innovation, sustainable development policies, and sustainability indicators. She has coordinated national and international projects, including the Ecological Footprint of Portuguese Municipalities and the EUSTEPs European project.

Siegmar Otto
Universidade de Hohenheim
Professor Siegmar Otto conducts research in the areas of environmental behavior, sustainable consumer behavior, education for sustainable development, environmental psychology, as well as digital transformation. He is also an expert in evaluation research and evidence-based policy consulting. He leads the BMBF-funded collaborative project “Application-oriented development of an outcome indicator test to assess ESD competencies of school students in Germany” as part of the German government’s sustainability monitoring. He has served as principal investigator on several projects, including the evaluation of the Horizon 2020 project STORIES – Students’ visions of the future of space exploration.

Silvia Collado
Universidade de Zaragoza
Silvia Collado holds a PhD in Environmental Psychology and is an Associate Professor in the University of Zaragoza. Her work explores the relationship between people and nature, with a particular focus on how this connection promotes well-being and fosters pro-environmental attitudes and behaviors. She has published extensively on this topic and received several awards recognizing her research trajectory. Silvia actively collaborates with international research groups and has completed research stays at Leiden University and Cornell University. She currently is sn elected member of the Board of the International Association of People-Environment Studies.
